In this episode I provide the history of the Acura Integra, which along with the Legend were Acura's first models when the brand launched in North America in 1986. Initially available as a 3-door or 5-door hatchback, it would later lose the 5-door, but then become more popular thanks to its GS-R trim in 1993, and the Type R in 1997. It also gained fame as one of the stars of the first Fast and Furious movie. But in 2002, Acura re-did their model names and changed the Integra to the RSX, and sales dropped with sportback models losing popularity, ending in 2006. Acura brought back the Integra name in 2022 as a 5-door sportback.
