Conflict isn’t failure. It can invite a renewed alignment. If you’re stuck in the same old battles,
you’ve probably fallen out of agreement with God. Trust that He has the way back because you
were beautifully created in harmony with His purpose. Aligning with that heavenly plan
requires your faith, because God is orchestrating at an eternal level. Look at the Samaritan
woman at the well who came in shame to draw water but left filled with faith after receiving a
revelation from Jesus. God won’t give you what you think you need; instead, He will always
provide everything you actually require to walk in step with Him.

In his letter to the Philippians, Paul unveils the secret to true peace: releasing anxieties and putting your trust in God. Too often, we keep a tight hold on our pain, thinking that someday we’ll need it to retaliate against those who’ve hurt us. But that is not the way of the Lord! You must open up your mind and let His Word transform you. If you continue to cling to the clutter of your past, you’ll never be renewed. To keep the peace, you have to learn to let go!

Has anything in your life turned out exactly like you expected? Your relationships? Your career? Being a parent? The reality almost always looks different than our perception. When we pray to God for things, what we ask for will likely come with struggles, delays, and uncertainty. Even the Israelites, who were delivered from generations of slavery and witnessed many miracles, still had to wander in the wilderness. But count it a blessing when you find yourself working through those hard places. God may be working discipline and patience in you, preparing you for exactly what you need when you need it.
