1. Get to know your clients
First, you need to figure out who your best customers are.
You need to know who they are and what makes them want to book, as well as how they like to book. During this brainstorming process, you should ask yourself things like, "What makes them [your ideal customer] want to travel?" Where do they find out about where they're going? How do they like to make plans? What makes them mad about researching and booking?
From your answers to those questions, you can make at least three customer profiles. You can then use the profiles to build your brand, website, and marketing plan.

Italy is Heavily Cracking Down on its Tourists, Here's Why | Firstpost America

The global favourite tourist destination of Italy is done with tourists. The country, which has been welcoming tourists for centuries, is now fed up with the number of people that visit the nation every year. While tourism brings money, it is not worth more than a person’s life. Due to so many people in the vicinity, the environment is under extreme pressure. Thus, Italy has been constantly introducing bans on certain activities that tourists can do in the country. There are bans on taking selfies, wearing flip-flops, and even sitting on the iconic steps in Rome. Watch our video to know more.

The social impacts of tourism demonstrate to us the positive and negative impacts that tourism can have on society. From the preservation of local culture to the revitalisation of culture and art to the preservation of heritage, there are many positive social impacts of tourism. However issues such as social change, loss of authenticity, globalisation and culture clashes demonstrate that there are also many negative social impacts of tourism.

Managing the social impacts of tourism is just one of three pillars (environment, society and economy) that facilitate sustainable tourism. Learn how we can make the travel and tourism industry better in this video and what part YOU can play in achieving a sustainable tourism industry.

"LOVE, The Philippines" a New Campaign Tourism Ad 2023 - Removed from the DOT's Official FB Page

DOT's Controversial Ad Tourism Campaign 2023 Removed From Official FB page.

Netizens were quick to express their disapproval of the campaign just 2 days after its debut, claiming that it includes stock footage that does not represent actual scenes from the Philippines.

DDB Philippines is the agency responsible for creating the ad campaign.

----------------------------------------------------------

DDB Group Philippines, the company behind "Love the Philippines" apologizes for using stock footage of Thailand, Indonesia, and Dubai in a video presentation.

The AVP was "intended to be a mood video to excite internal stakeholders about the campaign."

DDB: While the use of stock footage in mood videos is standard practice in the industry, the use of foreign stock footage was an unfortunate oversight on our agency’s part. Proper screening and approval processes should have been strictly followed.

DDB: It is important to note that the AVP was produced by DDB Philippines at its own expense, and no public funds were released or would be released, to fund the video. This was a DDB initiative to help pitch the slogan. | via Ralf Rivas/Rappler

The Spanish economy has been growing faster than most of its European neighbours recently - and that's in great part due to its tourism industry.

Tourism contributes around 13% of GDP growth to the country's economy thanks to a model based on sand, sea and sun.

This year, nearly 100 million foreign visitors are expected - a new record - and not everyone is happy about the influx of tourists.

Anti-tourism protests have been taking place across many parts of the count§y, including popular destinations Barcelona and Malaga.

Everybody loves to visit new places. However there a number of locations around the world which will give you nightmares. You will forget your sleep after watching some uncanny attractions. Here are the top 20 dangerous tourist attractions in the world.
1. Mount Huashan
The Plank Walk on China's Mount Hua is considered by many as one of the most dangerous hikes in the world. Hikers walk across a few planks of wood bolted into the side of a 7,000-foot peak to reach a small shrine. While the hikers are harnessed, it is still a terrifying adventure to many who dare. The amazing fact is, this dangerous tourist attraction is considered one of China's five sacred mountains and is one of the most popular tourist attractions and pilgrimage sites for Chinese people.
2. Hiking Trolltunga
This dangerous tourist attraction is Norway's most spectacular hiking destinations. But it is one of the most dangerous and hardest hiking destinations on earth. The estimated trekking time is 7–10 hours. Signs along the trail show the remaining distance to both Trolltunga and back to the trailhead. There are several options for traveling by bus, and every route takes you via the village of Odda in Hardanger. On this dangerous holiday spot, a 24-year-old Australian girl fell off the Troll's Tongue and died.
3. Devile Pool - Victoria Falls
Devil’s Pool is located atop Victoria Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world. The pool has long been a top “must-explore” tourist destination on the travel bucket list of many adventure lovers. Devil’s Pool is located in the Zambezi River, along the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. Here, tourists swim dangerously close to the tipping point of the falls, only prevented from falling by a slippery, submerged lip of rock.
4. End Road
This most dangerous tourist destination in Bolivia is known as "End Road" for all of the reasons you'd guess. Driving up or down this 43-mile switchback is extremely perilous due to fog, landslides, cascades, and cliffs that drop 2,000 feet at every turn. The road hardly gets wider than 10 feet. Multiple crucifixes spot the ground as memorials to those who have perished there.
5. Trift Bridge
It is the only suspension bridge of the longest walkway in the Swiss Alps. Beside the long trek, the view here may also weaken some people’s knees. It is suspended 330 feet from the valley floor and 560 meters in length. This is only the second bridge located in the beautiful valley with its dazzling landscape. In 2004, a huge hydroelectric plant was built under Trift Glacier. The plant collected and controlled the runoff from the glacier. A bridge was needed to reach the power plant below the glacier and so this precariously positioned structure was built. However it is not considered as dangerous as the glass bridge in china.
6. Kokoda and Black cat Trails
This dangerous tourist destination is a challenging 58km Papua New Guinea Adventure that runs between Salamaua and Wau in the Morobe Province. It is a forgotten World War 2 trail that passes through some of the toughest and most hazardous terrains in the world. Australian Diggers have often been heard describing the Black Cat Track as the hardest slog they have ever done. In fact, the Black Cat Tracks are harder than the Kokoda Tracks.
1. The Elephant Kingdom in Chonburi
This tourist attraction is in Thailand. An elephant camp owner and a mahout were charged with recklessly causing end and injuries after an elephant terminated a Chinese tour guide and injured two tourists. This happened in the Elephant Kingdom in Chonburi, Thailand. Considered the world’s most terrifying tourist attraction, the attraction was shut down after disturbing photos emerged of tourists balanced on a raft feeding meat - to crocodiles. They used flimsy canes to dangle lumps of beef over the jaws of the reptiles - which then leaped from the water to take their lunch.
2. Heaven’s Gate
This holiday destination is located at the top of Tianmen Mountain, 24,500 feet above the city of Zhangjiajie in China's Hunan province. The 999 steps lead visitors to Tianmen Cave, which is the world's highest naturally formed arch. Visitors can get there using the cable car, or choose the harder way - the 999 steps. Land Rover alleges that the Range Rover Sport is the first SUV to reach Heaven’s Gate.
3. Grand Canyon National Park
This dangerous place has between 15 to 20 fatalities and 300 search and rescue incidents reported per year. The most common causes of end are airplane crashes, falls, and dangerous environmental conditions such as overheating or drowning. Grand Canyon is in the northwest corner of Arizona, close to the borders of Utah and Nevada. The Colorado River, which flows through the canyon, drains water from seven states, but the feature we know as Grand Canyon is entirely in Arizona.
Which one did you find the scariest attraction? Do you want to visit any of them? Let us know in the comments below.

Thousands of people in Majorca are protesting against the surge in tourism that is being blamed for plummeting living standards among the local population.

Activists say spiralling housing costs on the Spanish Island are being driven by a huge number of properties being bought by foreigners.

This year, the anger among many locals is reaching a new level - notably demonstrated in Barcelona recently when visitors were drenched with water pistols.

Billions of people went on vacation in 2023, almost hitting pre-pandemic levels. Money has poured into the tourism industry, but it’s come at a cost in many other ways. Popular destinations like Mallorca and the Mexican city of Cancún are almost collapsing under the masses of people. This not only pushes locals out – it brings heaps of garbage, polluted water and soaring rents. In contrast, Costa Rica is praised as a pioneer of sustainable tourism in Latin America. But does it live up to its image? And is sustainable mass tourism even possible?

Best Places to visit in Kenya 🇰🇪

#Kenya is not only an awesome safari destination but East Africa's No. 1 travel destination which is actually a multifaceted place with a wide variety of adventures both rural and urban.

If you are a wildlife enthusiasts, look to the soaring heights of Mount Kenya, surrounded by flamingos and rare rhinos and wildebeest, and take 4X4s across the Amboseli National Park to spot large herds of African elephants and an extensive variety of wildlife such as Zebras, Giraffes, Cheetahs and innumerable bird species.

South Africa Travel guide|Best places to visit|Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, South Africa|Kenton-on-Sea

South Africa has all the features for a Dream travel destination; great weather, beautiful beaches, culture, friendly people, great cuisine.

Eastern Cape, South Africa prides itself with some of the most beautiful beaches and waterfalls in South Africa.
We drove from East London to Port Alfred, the scenic view is amazing- so green, full of mountains. Get to enjoy the beautiful scenery with crystal blue waters. They have a lovely restaurant and plenty of boat cruise companies by the Harbour.

We had lunch at a cute place that sells amazing amazing food in Port Alfred (opposite KFC);
Thee Braai House: https://instagram.com/theebraaihouse
Their food was mouth watering, delicious & fresh, they were also so friendly (it's a family business- the mom & son), we even went again the same day to get dinner.

We then drove to Kenton-on-Sea which also has a beautiful beach, a mini sand bank, and just all the greenery and beautiful mountains.
The highlight for me was Shelley beach in Kenton-on-Sea! The beautiful dunes, the high mountain sand, the blue sea water, the amazing rocks and just all round stunning and beautiful views. A dream place to be, just dipping in the water, enjoying the sound of the birds and enjoying nature. To die for.

BUDDYMOON DAY 283/1000 (VLOG 70)

We never thought we would get robbed in South Africa. This was something we never wanted to happen, but the way we got robbed was a little strange. This happened in the Cape of Good Hope in the Western Cape of South Africa.

We started in Simons town where we explored the town and also went to Boulders Beach, where we actually got to see thousands of Penguins. Such a cool experience. Thereafter, we went to Cape of Good Hope, and this is where we got mugged.

10 Amazing Places to Visit in South Africa

https://bit.ly/WOWTravelDeals

Kruger National Park: One of South Africa’s most famous and accessible game reserves, the Kruger National Park is a wildlife lover’s dream. Located in the north-east of the country, The Kruger National Park covers an enormous stretch of ecosystems that support all kinds of wildlife – from grasslands and dense forests to thickets and dry riverbeds.

Cape Town: The Mother City, with its gorgeous beaches, majestic mountain views, and friendly people, is a highlight on any South African bucket list. It may only be the second-largest city in the country, but it’s easily one of the most recognizable cities in the world. Located on the southwest tip of South Africa’s Western Cape Province, Cape Town enjoys a mild, Mediterranean climate and a spectacular natural setting.

https://bit.ly/EasyLocalTravel

Cape Winelands: If you’re a wine connoisseur, you’ll be in your element in South Africa’s extraordinary Cape Winelands. Located just a 45-minute drive from Cape Town, it’s one of the most picturesque wine-producing regions in the world, with undulating vineyards and spectacular mountain views from just about anywhere.

Hermanus: The once-sleepy, now touristy town of Hermanus in the Western Cape is the whale watching capital of South Africa – and for good reason.

Blyde River Canyon: Tangled in subtropical foliage, the Blyde River Canyon is the largest green canyon on the planet, and one of the deepest natural canyons on Earth.

Durban: While often overshadowed by bigger sisters Cape Town and Joburg, the port city of Durban (South Africa’s busiest) has plenty to offer all of its own – particularly if you are visiting during the southern hemisphere winter. With average temperatures in the mid-20s from June to July, winter simply doesn’t exist here!

Addo Elephant National Park: With humble beginnings as a small elephant sanctuary established to protect just 11 reddish-colored Addo elephants in the 1930s, Addo Elephant National Park is now one of South Africa’s largest national parks – and possibly one of the best for spotting these gentle giants.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park: Reaching out into both South Africa and neighboring Botswana, the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (meaning ‘Great Thirst’) is a desert wilderness with terrain that’s totally unique. Amidst the salt pans, bushveld, and rust-red dunes of the Kalahari are hordes of plains game, such as wildebeest, springbok (South Africa’s national animal), and gemsbok that are hunted in turn by predators like lions, cheetah, and leopards.

Drakensberg: The Drakensberg is a mountain range in South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province. Often shortened to just ‘The Berg’ by locals, the Drakensberg means ‘Mountains of the Dragon.’ The meaning of such a dramatic name isn’t lost on you when you see the might and majesty of these mountains.

https://bit.ly/FlyLift

Garden Route: One of the most beautiful drives in the world, the Garden Route meanders past seaside villages, game reserves, forests, lagoons, and white sandy beaches, with the brilliant blues of the Indian Ocean right alongside you. Stretching from Mossel Bay to St. Francis, this tourist route is what lures most international visitors to South Africa.

10 Best Places to Visit in South Africa.
Hello Displorers, welcome back to another exciting video presented to you by Displore and thanks for watching. In this video we shall be taking you to the southern part of Africa to show you the 10 best places to visit in South Africa. South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa, is the southernmost country in Africa. It is bounded to the south by 2,798 kilometers of coastline of Southern Africa stretching along the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans; to the north by the neighboring countries of Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe; and to the east and northeast by Mozambique and Swaziland, and it surrounds the enclave country of Lesotho. South Africa is the largest country in Southern Africa and the 24th-largest country in the world by land area of 1,221,037 km2 and, with over 58 million people, is also the world's 24th-most populous nation. South Africa is a multiethnic society encompassing a wide variety of cultures, languages, and religions. Its pluralistic makeup is reflected in the constitution's recognition of 11 official languages, which is the fourth-highest number in the world. The capital of South Africa is Pretoria and its official currency is the South African rand. Despite South Africa’s history of Apartheid and racial war, the country has emerged to become one of the most beautiful hence visited countries in the world. For more on the beautiful country of South Africa, we have a dedicated video on this channel on the top 10 things you don’t know about South Africa. Make sure to click on the card on your screen and watch that video after this one.

If you are new here, welcome, be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so you don’t miss any of our videos.
South Africa is a popular tourist destination with hundreds of tourist attractions in the country, and a substantial amount the country’s $371.298 billion GDP coming from tourism. Of the numerous places to visit in South Africa, a few of them are outstanding and hence here are the 10 best places to visit in South Africa.
10. Robben Island, Western Cape
What other place in south Africa can sum up the painful past of the nation like the Robben Island. In Table Bay, World-Heritage-listed Robben Island is a haunting reminder of the horrors of apartheid. Nelson Mandela spent 18 years imprisoned in a tiny cell here along with other political dissidents and social misfits. Perhaps the best part about this experience is that ex-prisoners are usually the guides, sharing poignant first-hand accounts of the atrocities they endured. Tours to the island begin with multimedia exhibits in the museum at the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Sightseers then board boats to Robben Island, often braving rough swells on the 30-45-minute ride. Be sure to book early as the tours can fill up fast, and why it not, everyone wants to have this unforgettable experience.

9. Hermanus, Western Cape
Located 120 kilometers southeast of Cape Town, the seaside town of Hermanus has earned itself a reputation as the whale-watching capital of South Africa. Every year, migrating southern right whales pass within a few hundred feet of the Hermanus shoreline, with many of them stopping to breed and calve in the town's own Walker Bay. You can book a tour with one of Hermanus' many whale-watching boats, or you can enjoy the whales' antics for free from any of the lookout points along the Cliff Path. In the center of town, the restaurants that line scenic Gearing's Point are a great place to sample gourmet cuisine while keeping an eye out for passing cetaceans. The whale-watching season lasts from July to November, but there are also plenty of other attractions worth seeing in Hermanus year-round.
