Bill Gates was a shy and quiet boy who loved spending time in his room reading books for hours. he grew up as an introverted and antisocial kid. In high school, his original plan was to teach math. But that was until his friend Paul Allen convinced him to pursue career in computer programming. So Bill Gates quickly took his advice and wrote his first computer program at the age of 13. But his parents were not very happy, they had other plans for their child. They wanted him to pursue a law career.

So to make his parents happy, he went to Harvard to study law. But he found himself spending more time on a computer than in class. And that was because He was really happy when he was coding and law was not something that excited him. So it was time for a bold move.

He dropped out of Harvard University to pursue his dream and formed Microsoft with his childhood friend Paul Allen.
But everything wasn't going perfect. At first the company struggled financially. Some of their big clients went bankrupt.
So Bill Gates faced many challenges and obstacles on his path to success.

One of those challenges was Windows 1.0. Young bill Gates predicted that after it's release Windows will be running on 90 % of all computers. But he was wrong. Windows was received poorly by critics, and only 10% of computers ended using it. And that was not even close to what Bill Gates was expecting. He was disappointed. It was a big setback, but also a stepping stone for Microsoft. After Two years of hard work and long hours Windows 2 was released. Big innovations were included, Microsoft Word and Excel were presented for the first time.So Windows Became a huge commercial success and revolutionized the world. Finally 90% of computers were using Windows.
Bill Gates Became a Billionaire at the age of 31 and at the age of 39 he became the richest man in the world.

The Motivational Success Story Of J.K Rowling - From Deep Depression To World's RICHEST AUTHOR In 2017

J.K Rowling is one of the most motivational and inspiration people who showed the world how determination and faith can pull you through just about anything, and that hard work really does pay off.

She describes the most traumatizing moment in her life as the day her mother died — it was New Year's Day in 1991 when Rowling was 25. This was six months after she began writing "Harry Potter," and she lamented that her mother never knew she was writing it. After her mother's death, Rowling moved to northern Portugal for a fresh start and taught English as a foreign language. After that she started dating a man who she married later and became pregnant with her daughter Jessica.

Living in a cramped apartment with her daughter, jobless and penniless, Rowling fell into a deep depression and admits she even considered suicide.
She was forced to rely on state benefits and spent much of her time writing "Harry Potter" in cafés with Jessica sleeping in the pram next to her.
"An exceptionally short-lived marriage had imploded, and I was jobless, a lone parent, and as poor as it is possible to be in modern Britain, without being homeless ... By every usual standard, I was the biggest failure I knew," Rowling said during a 2008 Harvard University commencement speech.
After receiving "loads" of rejections from book publishers when she first sent out the manuscript, Bloomsbury, a publishing house in London, gave "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" the green light in 1997. In 2011, Forbes estimated Rowling to be worth about $1 billion, but she has since fallen from the publication's list of the world's billionaires after reportedly giving some of her wealth to charity. She remains on its lists of the most powerful celebrities and the world's top-earning authors.

If you’ve been emailing factories to manufacture your clothing line, my guess is it feels like those emails are going into a black hole.

Factories get A LOT of inquiries, and if they get ANY sense that you don’t know what you’re talking about, they’ll ignore you.

So how do you get them to take you seriously? You go in prepared and armed with some basic knowledge. You don’t need to be an expert, you just need to follow a few simple steps to sound like you know what you’re talking about (even if you barely do and you’re totally new to the fashion industry).

In this video, I’m going to share simple pre-production checklists that will save you time, money and make sure factories take you seriously. Following these checklists will instantly show them that you’re prepared which means you’re one step closer to finding a factory and manufacturing your clothing line!

Not only do you get an in-depth overview of how to research suppliers, but I also explain how to design a seamless repeat pattern in Affinity Photo. I know finding manufacturers can be tricky and often people keep the way they do things a secret, but what you fill find is many people are using alibaba.com to source. The goal for this video was to create transparency and give people the information they need to make informed decisions. While the company has had some bad news in the past, the reality is that there is good and bad in every situation and the way to do things right is to properly research and vet the suppliers you work with, I show you how to do that in this video. It can be quite a challenge to find a manufacturer -- one you like working with and whose factory produces a quality product at a fair price. Here are some tips on how to navigate through the process of finding one, as well as how to optimize your relationship with your manufacturer so that you -- and your customers -- are happy. Step 1: Creating a Prototype

Creating a working prototype or finding someone who can do it for you is the first step in the manufacturing process. During my early days, I was able to sew most of my prototypes. But as my product, Planecomfort, was refined and the components used and the skills necessary to create the product I envisioned moved beyond my sewing expertise, I knew I needed help. Searching online, I found a wonderful yet small cut-and-sew business in northern California called Left in Stitches.
This relationship proved valuable to me in a number of ways. They not only helped refine my original prototype, but they offered many suggestions and ideas for making the product easier to manufacture. Many of these smaller domestic companies offer prototyping services that are invaluable to new entrepreneurs.
Once you have a prototype, there is quality and design testing and tweaking. At each stage of development, and every time I received the newer version of my product, I washed, dried, pulled, stretched, zipped, unzipped, and put my product through the proverbial "ringer." Making sure your product will exceed your customers' expectations is a sure way to keep them coming back and referring your product to others.
Ideally, you want to have a dozen or so finished prototypes. Manufacturers will want one or two samples sent to them as a reference to compare to the finished product their factory is making.
I thought I would be able to use Left in Stitches for the long term, but due to logistical reasons and production costs, I had to find an overseas manufacturer. Moving your manufacturing operations overseas means you want large quantities (usually thousands) of the item you are producing. If you want hundreds of something, you may be better off working with a domestic manufacturer.
Step 2: Finding a Manufacturer

I located my overseas manufacturers through referrals, which provided me with an immediate level of comfort and confidence with these factories. One referral came from a fabric manufacturer. Most fabric manufacturers have relationships with product manufacturers.
Another factory was referred to me by a marketing services company. This company manufactures both soft and hard goods and was happy to provide their contact with another business opportunity. Call domestic manufacturers and inquire about their overseas connections. Ask everyone you know if they know someone who manufactures the type of products you are creating. Search online for companies with products similar to yours and call them. Who do they use? How did they get started? My experience is that most people will want to help you.
I found it was best to work with at least two different companies when trying to decide who will win your business. Who is easiest to work with? Who meets (or beats) your expectations? Is one more knowledgeable than the other? Having a comparison is essential to ensure you are getting a quality product at a fair price.
There are two common ways you can deal with overseas manufacturing. You can find a broker or agent in the U.S. that represents the factory, or deal with a factory directly.

Once you have determined who you might like to work with, you must check references on your contact and the factory. Some of the important questions to ask:
Was the product made to specifications?
What percentage of the shipment was defective?
If there was a problem with the shipment, did the factory make restitution?
Were deadlines met? If not, what did the factory offer to make amends?
Is what was promised delivered?
How is the quality of goods they produce?
How long have you worked with this person and factory?
How many orders have you placed?
Is your contact easy to work with?
Is he/she responsive to calls and emails?
What type of projects does the factory excel in producing? Soft goods, hard goods?
What types of companies do they normally work with?
Who is responsible for landing the goods in the U.S.?

This weeks video is something that nobody ever really talks about in the Industrial design world….
The “Design Guide”….What happens after the initial design work is done??
How do you get your design prototyped? and ultimately manufactured…?
You know the in’s and out's of your product, but your the only one…How do you convey this information to someone or a team of people that are new to your product??
You need to create a package of information that can be handed off and reviewed by others to quickly understand what you want to me made and to your specifications.
A good design package will get you a quote quicker and to production faster.
I cover the steps of creating what is needed to get the "Backpack Hanger" quoted for prototyping and production.
Honestly, it’s probably the least enjoyable part of being an Industrial designer for me. It’s a huge amount of work to reach out and find a manufacturer and then sort through the data of quotes and numbers. It is however part of what an indepent designer is sometimes required to do to see your vision become a reality.
I cover how I create the various documents that make up the design guide, that gets shipped out to manufacturers to quote the project.
I also cover how I use an online tool called mfg.com to help me find a possible manufacturer.

Hummus can be made quickly and easily using a Silverson High Viscosity In-Line mixer in conjunction with a stirrer/scraper unit. The HV In-Line mixer is designed to handle higher viscosity products such as hummus.

Interchangeable workheads are available, offering greater flexibility and enabling manufacturers to obtain the desired texture.

For smaller batches, Silverson has developed the Silverson Sauce plant, a self-contained unit for the manufacture of dips and sauces for the ready-to-use market, R&D and pilot-scale production.
