I think the biggest disability that we have as human beings is unbelief. Everything starts with a vision and a man without vision dies. You may have arms and legs but unless you know three things. No 1: who are you and what your value is? No 2: What is your purpose here in life? and No 3: what is your destiny? When you're done here if you don't know the answers to any of those three questions. You're more disabled than I.

On one occasion he says:
When you don't have a goal, then we say we have faith. But how do you get faith? You read the word of God when you read the word of God. You get faith. Now, does that necessarily equate to a vision for your life? No. Does that necessarily equate to a goal for your life? No. But it first gives you the fundamental foundation that you can build for that later on. Coming back to your value, and I think that's the key. Yeah. That's the enemy's attack. If I can deceive you on your value and your identity, then what goals are you ever going to do? that's right. So I think that's the foundation that we need to lay down for the next generation. And say, then let's dream big. When you know who you are and you know who HE is and HE's in your corner. Greater is HE, who is in me than anything, and HE in the world. That's when you become unstoppable.

You will learn something more or something new and you will learn more overall on bad days than good days.

June, I've hugged over a half a million people around the world, 75 countries. I'm going to say absolutely, without a shadow of doubt in my mind, that you are in the top 10 most inspirational people that I know living today that continue to dedicate everything that they have unto the Lord to actually just reach one more person. It is that drive for that lost souls that is so poignant and potent that it's contagious to anyone who gets to know you because you simply take time for each soul. I want to say thank you for shining the light of Jesus the way that you do. You know there's nothing more exciting than a changed life.

Do you know that when my parents saw me for the first and the doctor saw me for the first time, they actually had no idea that I'd be born this way until I said, "Surprise!" And in 1982 the doctor said, "We are so sorry. He's going to be a vegetable all his life, and he will never ever walk." Thank God the doctors are wrong sometimes.

Unless you actually address what's really going on, it's still there. You can ignore it, you can bury it, You can try to move on, but one thing I realized about my broken heart was that everywhere I was, I was with me, and my broken heart was right there. Sure there were times where some good things had happened and it distracted me from the real disabilities that I had, but eventually life catches up to you, and we all deal with things a little different.
