The number of people missing and unaccounted for as a result of the northern California wildfire has risen sharply to 631, an increase of more than 500 since Wednesday. Almost 8,000 homes were destroyed as the fire tore through the town of Paradise, killing at least 63 people
California Los Angeles Wildfires LIVE Updates: Raging wildfires have surrounded Los Angeles, killing at least five people, destroying hundreds of homes as more than 100,000 people were ordered to evacuate.
Fierce wildfires burning out of control in the greater Los Angeles area have killed at least six people and forced nearly 180,000 more from their homes. Authorities said the total number of deaths is unknown.
Dry conditions and powerful winds sparked at least five fires, causing unprecedented scenes in areas not known for fires.
The Palisades Fire has burned through more than 17,200 acres, almost 27 square miles. It has destroyed 1,000 structures and was 6% contained tonight.
Billy Crystal lost the Pacific Palisades house where he had lived since 1979.Paris Hilton watched her Malibu beach mansion burn down on live TV. Jamie Lee Curtis, James Woods, Mandy Moore, Mark Hamill and Maria Shriver were among the other celebrities forced to evacuate as out-of-control fires in Los Angeles swept across some of the most lavish real estate in the world.
The largest blaze consumed nearly 12,000 acres (5,000 hectares) in Pacific Palisades, a picturesque neighborhood between the beach towns of Santa Monica and Malibu that is home to many film, television and music stars.
The $6.5 million home of “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester and her husband Adam Brody of “The O.C.” went up in flames.
Perennial Oscars host Crystal and his wife Janice said they were heartbroken to lose the Pacific Palisades house where they had raised their children and grandchildren since 1979, “but with the love of children and friends we will get through this”.
Reality TV star Hilton said she was “heartbroken beyond words” to lose her beachfront mansion. “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,” she wrote on X.

👨🏻‍💻 Having worked in roles that required me to use Excel and Google Sheets extensively over the past 7 years, I thought it might be good to share 15 Google Sheets Formulas that all Working Professionals Should Know! Whether you're a beginner who have never come across Google Sheets functions, or a power user who feel comfortable combining multiple Google Sheets formulas, I hope there's something for you in this Google Sheets / Excel formula video!

For simple formulas that most people use such as VLOOKUP, there are things you want to watch out for, for example when to use "TRUE" vs. when to use "FALSE." We also cover more advanced formulas such as IMPORTRANGE, ARRAYFORMULA, CONCATENATE, and combined functions such as =IF(SEARCH())

If you're a fresh graduate who just landed a first full-time job, or a working professional who has been working for 1-5 years, you probably will come across situations where you would need to use some (if not all) of the formulas mentioned in this video, whether you work with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, so why not give yourself a head start by practicing today? 😉
