EXPOSITION
The effects of the widespread pornography in modern culture on the mind and soul can't be over-emphasised, even as today marks safer Internet Day. Having been created in God's image (Gen. 1:27; cf. Rom. 8:29), our souls and minds should represent His holiness/purity. This is distorted by pornography that corrupts the intellect. The Bible vehemently forbids lust (Matt. 5:28). Pornography satisfies sinful hunger and pulls people away from God's intention on sex. It glorifies greed and a skewed perception of intimacy. Moreover, Pornography inspires addiction; it has trapped several people. It ruins self-worth, twists ideas of what love is, and obstructs spiritual development. Christians must deal with the harmful effects of pornography with care and honesty. Believers attain purity via prayer, accountability and trusting in God's strength. Genuine freedom and restoration from pornography and its devastating effects are found only in Christ Jesus. Let us accept His plan for sexuality. To be free, collaborate with the Holy Spirit. Enjoy success everyday!

2. Father, challenge those creating and spreading pornography to desist from the menace.
