Houses And Properties Worth Millions Was Destroyed On I.K Peters Street, Ajao Estate, On Monday 29 April 2023, As Official Of The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LSBCA) Alongside The Federal Airport Authority Of Nigeria (FAAN) Demolished Illegal Buildings.


A Former Resident On The Street Said The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) Had Given Prior Notice About The Demolitions Of The Buildings As A Result Of It Been Situated On A Federal Pipeline.


However, Some Spokesmen Of Igbo socio-cultural organization in Nigeria, Ohaneze Ndigbo Who Were On A Fact-Finding Mission Disclosed To The Environment Correspondent, Gimalo-Angel Olowogoke, That The Exercise Was Not Carried Out To Target Any Particular Tribe Unlike The Misleading Information Been Spread On Social Media.
