A BBC investigation has found that thousands of pounds worth of British mini computers have been shipped to companies in Russia now sanctioned for their links to the military.

The Raspberry Pi circuit boards -- designed to help children learn to code -- have been found in Russian drones used against Ukraine.

The company says it is shocked by the trade, had no involvement in shipments and is doing everything it can to stop it.

The computers have apparently been shipped by a firm based in Kyrgyzstan, founded by twenty five year old, part-time swimwear model called Valeria Baigascina.

Ms Baigascina said she was the founder of the company but had sold it in May. She denied the allegations, saying that when she had owned it, “nothing like that was supplied”.
