Have you ever seen how car filters are made? First you should know that vehicle filter system affects car filters' lifetime and safety. #car #filters #howitsmade
00:00 Filtration systems.
The system removes harmful pollutants from fuel and air and then store them in the engine's oil. To add more, car filters also improve cabin air quality.

00:30 Vehicle filter production.
We did this at Rawicz at the Hengst facility in Poland. Auto and truck filters are made by Hengst Filter. They provide over 700 parts to both automakers and repair businesses.

00:51 Examine the car filters production process.
First, comes the pleating. This is where we prepare the filter media. Currently, this line produces an air filter insert that protects the engine from pollutants. Fiberglass-resin filter insert composed of cellulose paper. The resin provides flammability and moisture resistance.

Currently, this line is making an air filter insert that protects the engine from pollution in the air needed to ignite the fuel mix. The filter insert is made of cellulose paper interwoven with resin. Inflammability and moisture resistance are provided by the resin.

The paper roll is moved from storage to manufacturing. The raw material is rolled out first. Pre-heating the paper makes it plastic enough to emboss. These embossings provide equal pleat distribution and pocket sizing. Pleating is an important method for enhancing filtering surface.

03:00 How cabin filter for air conditioners are created?
Factory uses polyester-based synthetic material instead of cellulose. Making pleats starts when the raw material is rolled out and embossed. Polyester is pliable. Activated carbon is also utilised in cabin filters to increase filtering quality. Carbon's porous structure prevents contamination better. Two knives are used to produce the pleating. The polyester caulks the sidewalls.

03:59 The pleating department prepares gasoline and oil filter material.
The gasoline filters also employ raw material with a water separation layer. The insert is ultrasonically welded.

04:26 Rewind to the air filters.
The filter inserts are moved to the assembly lines. It has 30 workstations, thus it can generate 30 distinct filter kinds at once. The robot administers the releasing chemical into the top mould where the filters are placed. Inject polyurethane into the lower mould.

05:34 The following assembly line installs vehicle sir filters.
We begin by preparing aluminum molds. An initial releasing agent prevents the seals from adhering. The mold is then heated. The plasma treatment cleans the reinforcing rings. We put these rings in a polyurethane mould. The filter insert is now in the polyurethane molding. This is done on the carousel line.

06:37 This equipment also inserts gasoline and oil filters. The synthetic bottoms go into the moulds, and the filter inserts go into the top holds. After plasticisation, the inserts are attached to the bottom. The following manufacturing cell has different shaped bottles. The filter is then sealed on the reverse.

The final goods are carried to the high-bay warehouse for delivery to customers. Every month, the Hengst facility in Rawicz produces 300 000 filters.

Factories are the tour of manufacturing facilities. We're here to see what it's like to work in this field. This project was influenced by the famous television show "How It's Made?" The Discovery television channel made him famous. We travel to the factory every week with our viewers to see how the particular manufacturing process is doing. We get a new documentary film every week, which explains how things are made. You'll find these and many more items among the many types of machinery you'll find on the planet. Most likely, you're also curious in the processes involved in food production. Some of the foods we showcased on our YouTube channel were frankfurters, Pepsi, kebabs and salty sticks as well as a variety of sauces and condiments. How exhilarating it is to be in the midst of making something new. There is so much fascinating knowledge to be found in the fields of science and technology. Every week, we take you on a tour of the wonders of the manufacturing industry. We're not in for any surprises at the plant.
