Living in the L Series Pt. 1 – What Does Love Really Look Like? – January 09, 2022

This is the first message in a four-part series called Living in The L. In the book of Luke, we get a picture of what real love looks like. The parable of The Prodigal Son tells us a fantastic story of the extravagant welcoming home of a wayward son by his father. The father runs to his son and embraces him...not the typical response of a father. This is a picture of what REAL Love looks like, a picture of what God is like. Unfortunately, our humanness makes it hard to take in the image and relate it to what God is like, and let this picture descend into the center of our hearts. Once we have received Christ’s love, we are set free to live life in that truth that I am God’s beloved child, unconditionally loved, and I can then be sent into the world to speak and to act as Jesus did.
