Many subscribers in Nigeria say they are disappointed with the government directives to disconnect all unregistered phone lines.

The measures became effective on the 4th of April and 72 million has already been barred from making phone calls in African most populous country.

The directive was also issued to Nigerian Immigration Service, banks, and other organizations as they are expected to verify the National Identity Number of their customers before attending to them.
