Bahubali the beginning is a 2015 Indian epic action film co-written and directed by ss rajamouli. This movie budget was 180 crores rupees and world wide collection 650 crores rupees. Total Hindi net collection was 118 crores rupees. The bahubali series, originally made in Telegu, was distributed in Hindi by Karan Johar's Dharma production. The film makers didn't spare any expense on vfx, cinematography, sets, location or sounds design. As a result the movie budget was one of the biggest ever for an Indian film. The film was inspired by the Mahabharata with the characters played by prabhas and Rana Daggubati inspired by Yudhishthir and Duryodhana respectively.
