Pray Without Ceasing

“Prayer is to be continuous. It’s not limited to Sundays, not limited to when we lie down and go to sleep. It’s not limited to when we’re in need. Prayer is not just about that moment when you realize things are out of control. No, it’s continuous. Times of panic, times of need, times of joy, times of celebration—prayer fits. Sometimes it’s praise, sometimes it’s confession, sometimes it’s intercession for others, and then there are days when it is simply thanksgiving. But prayer is to be continuous.”
