Uzziah became great because he was marvelously helped of God. There are certain levels of greatness you cannot see until you enjoy the help of God.
God helps a man by Himself, through angels, or through the Holy Spirit. He is our ever-present help. Hallelujah!
How the Holy Spirit Helps A Believer
1. He lifts a standard against the enemy.
(Isaiah 59:19)
He puts the devil and his cohorts to flight on your behalf.
Any time you see battles around you, God is just giving you the opportunity to exercise your faith and to train your spiritual muscles. Majority of your battles are fought by the Lord Himself which are unknown to you.
2. The Spirit guides you to the truth.
(John 14:16-18)
May you make decisions based on truth, in Jesus name.
You may know some truths but not all the truth about a matter because here we know in part. Sometimes God hides certain truth you need in some people so that when you discuss with them, they shade light to you; the Spirit of God works inside of them to unravel the truth to you.
However, liars are killers. When someone is lying to you, avoid them because such persons put on the nature of satan.
If you want to defeat Satan, stand in the truth. He doesn't survive in the truth. That's why the Holy Spirit bombards you with truths to make you win always.
3. The Spirit anoints you.
(Acts 10:38; 1 Samuel 16:14; Numbers 12:1-11)
There's divine enablement the Spirit gives you to succeed in anything you do. The anointing protects and keeps you.
In fact, God is not a respecter of persons but the anointing. The anointing of God is His investment upon a man--and He never forgets His anointing.
