The Law of 50:20 — Team Conference Sunday — Robert Madu

The Law of 50:20 is profound. Taken from Genesis 50:20, we discover that in God’s kingdom, God will take what is intended for evil and use it for good in order to accomplish His greater purpose. Take Joseph for example. Joseph, the favored son of his father Jacob, received a dream from God that led his brothers to sell him off to slavery. The road of life brings violations, leading us to “let it go” or “make them pay”. As we see Joseph reunite with his brothers over 20 years later, rather than greeting them with revenge, he greets them with forgiveness. God had shifted his perspective on his pain, allowing him to choose reconciliation. He wants to do the same with us!
