E-learning has been cushioning the effect of Covid-19 pandemic-Lockdown on students' lost time on in-school activities.

Children whose families cannot afford the luxury of online education have had to rely on government interventions with classes on public radio and television stations at midday.

Some students are not privileged to have access to these mediums of communication. But Taju, a 26 -year- old teacher is bridging that gap in one community in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.

Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.
