Ray Firey wrote this song in 1999 as a tribute to our own pastor at the time-commemorating his 10th anniversary at the church we he attended at the time. But this song is intended to be a tribute for ALL pastors faithfully doing the work of the Lord (Note: Year of 1998 on Video credits in in error-should be 1999). LYRICS: It's 5:00 on Sunday morning -- And though he's had but little sleep,
He knows he's made a promise he must keep.
