Unfortunately, these practices have made their way into some churches, either through the teachings of certain pastors or through the influence of popular culture. This is a disturbing trend, and it's important to remember that the Bible does not condone any of these practices.

So what can Christians do to protect themselves from the occult? The first thing is to be aware of the signs of occult influence. This includes things like the pastor speaking in tongues or promoting practices like astrology. It's also important to keep up with biblical teachings and to be discerning when it comes to the church's teachings.

It’s also important to remember that only God can provide the knowledge and power that we seek. Only the word of God has the direction to know the actual mind and attributes of God. The sword of the word is the Bible. That’s the word of God the only tool with which to destroy demonic forces.
