The desire to improve performance, increase learning, and change behavior continually drives our desires to challenge and expand our knowledge of how individuals receive, process, and store information in relation to learning.
Adult learning theory is not an assembly of catch phrases, opinions, and abstract ideas. Nor is there only one adult learning theory. These theories are used by Instructional Designers to design and develop instructional materials in a way that will be executed by facilitators, such as yourself, to facilitate the learning process.
