How To Play Five Lines - The ancient Greek race game.
This two-player race game was known as "Pente Grammai" in Greece over 2500 years ago. I present just one of several ways the game might have been played. Like so many games from long ago, no details about game play survive. These rules are speculative, developed by game scholars and archaeologists, and many variations can be found online and in print.
Five Lines is a distant ancestor of games like Backgammon, and similar in some ways to Pachisi.
