James Payne - Hold the rope

Faith pleases God. He is a rewarder of those that dilligently seek him. This is illustrated in this sermon as a rope that you are holding on to. It is like God is saying to you, "When you put a seed in my hand for something, I put a robe in your hand tied to your miracle." It is your job is to hold the rope, and everytime you take a turn on that rope you get closer to me and your miracle.

4 things that will strengthen your rope.
1) Keep hope alive. People will cause you to lose hope if you are not careful. If you are a part of a church, avoid hope-less people. Be around people that infuse you with hope.
2) Keep your faith strong. Romas 4 says Abraham was strong in the faith. Refuse to doubt. Refuse to let doubt and unbelief come out of your mouth.
Speak the Word not the problem.
3) Don't let fear steal your focus and don't let what you don't have keep you from what you can have. Don't let circumstances dictate your actions.
4) Be fully persuaded. Do not waver. Many tend to praise God for what is good in their life, but on Monday, when all hell breaks loose, they are giving in not being fully persuaded.
