SRU Success Stories - Krista Klukan, Transfer, Exercise Science

Krista Klukan is a sophomore, transfer student majoring in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University. She transferred to SRU because of the prestigious Exercise Science program and because it is more affordable than her previous institution. She loves the campus size and the increase in diversity at SRU compared to her previous institution. Since transferring to SRU, Krista describes her experience as uphill slope of happiness. She talks about how the Living Learning Community in her residence hall and the student organizations she’s become involved in have eased her transition to SRU. She loves how active and involved her coursework is, and is beginning to build strong relationships with her professors.
