Sustainable Agriculture Practices

Sustainable agriculture is farming to meet society's current food needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. These practices improve crop yield while conserving soil, water, and other natural resources.

Sustainable agriculture practices are supported under the ‘Enhancement of Smallholder Spice Farmer’s Capacities in Sustainable Farming’ project in four Indian states - Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan. The project is part of the develoPPP.de Programme implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The lead executing agency for this project is AVT McCormick.
