The Champion | Jentezen Franklin

This is "The Champion". In 1 Samuel 17, the Philistines had a champion, Goliath. But God’s people had a champion too, David. Goliath is a picture of the serpent that deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. David represents Jesus, the root and offspring of David. Satan tried to defeat God’s people, but Jesus is our Champion.
