Being from East Africa and working to establish a goat farm with local east African goats can seem a challenge owing to the fact that goats from this region are small and have a very low growth rate. the introduction of exotic goat breeds like Boers, Savanas, brown Kalahari among others the trade seemed to be getting better but the challenge is that acquiring those breeds costs an arm and a leg.
