Delusion has reached the children of God on account of their misunderstanding of what discernment is. Discernment is a function of the inner-man, it is not something you turn on and off like a switch. Discernment is not the difference between right and wrong, because even an unbeliever can differentiate the two. Common sense, education, & morality teach the difference. Discernment is being able to compare spiritual things with the spiritual. Sounds simple right? However, you can never compare spiritual things until you learn to live in the spirit and learn how to properly use your spirit!
