Just like us the Romans were constantly looking for ways to make the most of their free time. This often involved playing all kinds of games involving luck, skill, and physical ability. Some will be familiar to us like tic tac toe, chess, and bocce ball. In this live history documentary we seek to explore this fascinating topic by looking at what sort of items they used from dice to towers, and gaming boards. We then explore what sorts of games were played.
