Origin of the term ‘Yoruba’ and how it came to be used for the people of Western Nigeria

The missionaries brought lots of changes to us, many of them positive. One such positive change is the watershed one brought upon us by the translating of the Bible into Yoruba. We, as a people, will never go back to what we were as a result of the initiative of Ajayi Crowther and his host of parent missionaries.
