Welcome back to the Freelance Life! I know this week's video is LONG, BUT it is COMPREHENSIVE. I walk you through the entire process of designing custom washi tape and finding a supplier on Alibaba to get it manufactured from start to finish. I will share some time stamps below if you want to skip the intro which includes my overall experience. Not only do you get an in-depth overview of how to research suppliers, but I also explain how to design a seamless repeat pattern in Affinity Photo. I know finding manufacturers can be tricky and often people keep the way they do things a secret, but what you fill find is many people are using alibaba.com to source. The goal for this video was to create transparency and give people the information they need to make informed decisions. While the company has had some bad news in the past, the reality is that there is good and bad in every situation and the way to do things right is to properly research and vet the suppliers you work with, I show you how to do that in this video.
